Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Information

covid 19 cleaning informationThe world as we know it has possibly changed forever and will definitely go down in world history books as one of the most important moments in time.

At the start of the outbreak we were paying particular attention to both yours and our own health and safety with the sanitisation of areas that we may have touched and the areas around your home that see a lot of traffic, anything we touched by hand plus your door handles and letterboxes were being disinfected as we mentioned in our last news post.

Due to confusion surrounding who can work and who can't we have taken a week off whilst we investigated this and having read everything that the government has distributed since 23rd March 2020 and also looked at advice from Chamber Of Commerce amongst others and we have decided that it is safe and legal for us to clean windows etc.

We can confirm that we will be resuming work on 1st April 2020  but this will be with some strict new practices in place.

Here at Mansfield window cleaners we have been taking this pandemic very seriously from the start and everything we touch by hand has been sprayed with an industrial strength disinfectant for over 2 weeks now, that includes gate latches etc and anything that we need to move out of our way.

In addition to that we have sprayed door handles and letterboxes for our customers with this disinfectant before and after cleaning for just a little added protection for our customers.

Now with the escalation of the virus we feel we have to step this up a little and ask that our customers, especially the elderly keep their distance, you know that we do love to chat and now and again share a cuppa with you but for your own safety and ours too please stay indoors if you can.

We are still cleaning until we have to stop, be that when our government tells us we have to or ourselves or someone around us begins to show any symptoms of the Coronavirus.

We have also changed the way we perform deep cleans like conservatory cleaning and Upvc cleans too, we have added antibacterial agents to all solutions that we use of which some already contain bleaching agents so when we leave, the area we have worked in is more or less sanitised.

Lastly along with distancing ourselves from each other in a bid to stop the virus being passed between us we are asking that you pay via either bank transfer or sign up to our GoCardless direct debit system if possible. This will minimise contact between us and stop the spread of Covid-19 on bank notes and coins.

If you have any concerns that these measures are not enough we do not mind suspending regular cleans at all until this crisis is over, we do all need to earn a living for as long as we can but our health and the health of our parents and grandparents especially is of the utmost importance and must come first.

Thank you everyone for your valued custom and we hope you are all fit and well.

gutter soffit fascias cleaned in mansfield nottinghamshireDo you live in a semi detached home in Mansfield and need your uPVC soffits, fascias and gutters cleaning?

Mansfield window cleaners often turn up to clean uPVC on one house and the home next door is as bad or sometimes even worse which can still defer from the kerb appeal of the property we are cleaning.  Most of the time the neighbour hasn't thought about having their plastics cleaned and don't realise that it's relatively easy and not expensive.  Once the soffit's, fascias and gutters are cleaned on the house we're there to clean it can also totally ruin the look of next door because one side of the facade is spotless and the other is usually downright filthy in comparison.

conservatory cleaned recently in edwinstowe mansfield nottsI'm always quite busy around the Mansfield area cleaning all kinds of things like windows, uPVC and even patio's and decking these days but on occasion I get to work in my own beautiful historic village Edwinstowe right in the heart of Robin Hood country in Nottinghamshire.

Very recently I had the pleasure of reviving the whole exterior of one property in the new part of the village not too far away from the Major Oak, Robins reputed hiding place.  All uPVC was cleaned including the soffits, fascias, window frames and sills plus the gutters were made spotless inside and out too.

cleaning a conservatory in mansfield nottinghamshireWell it must mean summer is definitely on the way because Mansfield window cleaners are getting more and more requests for conservatory cleaning.

More than ever before and we're loving every minute because it's the best part of the job, seeing a really dirty moss covered lean to, an algae encrusted Georgian or a seriously grimy orangery or p-shaped conservatory transformed and brought back to it's former glory is really satisfyng and you never really get away from the "I did that" feeling.

Without having to climb onto your treasured conservatory room it can be brought back to virtually new condition. shining and letting in all the glorious sunshine that it was meant to.
